Who are We?
Connecting Seniors with Care is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending social isolation among seniors. By fostering meaningful intergenerational connections, the organization pairs seniors with enthusiastic student volunteers, helping to bridge the gap between generations and promote a sense of community and belonging. Join us in spreading smiles and warmth to seniors in need!
Our mission:
Connecting Seniors with Care (CSC) is a non-profit volunteer group based at the University of Alberta, Edmonton. Our mission is to combat social isolation among seniors through personal visits, PenPal letters, and engaging events like Easter Egg Hunts and thoughtful Helping Hampers. We aim to bring joy, companionship, and a sense of community to seniors in need.

We foster healthy social interactions by connecting seniors and volunteers through friendly letter exchanges, building meaningful connections and reducing isolation.
We offer engaging presentations for seniors that promote learning and foster social connections within the community.


Our team holds a number of events each year to help raise funds and to support our initiatives.
